Painting...again!

Painting the entry...was a flat red and we chose a beautiful semi-gloss called
"Clay Pot". We love it!

Ok, I finally figured out how to attach photos.

I found some photos of our backyard I thought would be nice to share. This is the reason we chose the house that we bought. The backyard was so green and almost felt like we were home in Utah. Believe it or not, we removed and trimmed about 1/2 of the plants that the former owner had! It was a job...9 trips to the dump plus many more full trash cans to the curb!! It is beginning to feel more like our place now. One of our favorite things to do is to watch the hummingbird "jousting" on Saturday mornings. It is funny to watch them compete over the feeders! We have no neighbors behind us as it is a natural desert bordering the neighborhood park. When we look over the fence we see the desert trees, cactus and the Rincon mountains in the distance. It is really nice and feels very private having no one behind us. However, we do have the occasional jogger or dog walker walk past us once in a while too. Kinda weird but also cool.
